Ongoing Maintenance

A website that isn’t updated is like a newspaper that prints the same story everyday. After a while, it just gets boring.

Now that you have had a website developed, how do you keep it updated frequently so your visitors keep coming back? You could learn HTML (the language used to write webpages) and hope you don't mess up your new site, or you could enlist the services of a professional. We can either do the changes for you, or provide you with a Content Management System (CMS) that looks a lot like Microsoft Word to make changes to your site whenever you want.

Updating is a necessary part of every website. Without updates, you won’t receive many repeat visitors, which is extremely important because it takes an average of 7 visits before a visitor will purchase from your website.

But updating doesn’t have to always be difficult. We provide three different options that will make your life easier when it comes to updating your website:

Prepaid Maintenance

This is our most popular package. You buy a set amount of hours (5, 10, 15, or 20 hours/month) and you prepay that amount at half our normal hourly rate. If you don't use the time, there’s no refund - but you can get twice the amount of updates than you would if you were paying at our normal hourly rate, a definite value for your money. This is great for sites like e-commerce where you constantly need to add, delete or update product information often. We just do the work and send you an invoice specifying how long it took and how much time you have left for the month. The best part is you know exactly how much money you will spend each month on updates.

Pay-Per-Update

Much like the above maintenance package, you simply send us the changes you want, we do them and send you an invoice. The difference is that instead of prepaying, you pay after the updates are done. This is great for those not knowing how often they will need updates or the extent of those updates. While you aren't locked into a set plan (like the maintenance packages), you do pay the full hourly rate.

Content Management System

If you would rather do your own updates, we have the perfect plan for you! We can make a custom CMS that makes editing your site as easy as editing a Word document. Whenever you want to make changes or additions to your site, you log into your custom CMS and make the changes you want. We design the CMS so that it only edits portions of the site you want to edit – so no worrying about messing up the design of the site.
